'A Grain of Truth'

The idea for ‘A Grain of Truth’ came during a holiday at ‘Brotchie’ on Westray in September 2009. The beauty of the location, the shared walks, conversation and meals inspired us to join forces to create a course which would enhance such a break for others.

Joyce and Linda’s complementary professional skills offer a unique blend of the reflective and the practical. (Please check out our websites www.start-here-coaching.co.uk and www.kinsman-blakeceramics.co.uk to find out more about us and what we do)  Their course is uniquely designed to work on many levels; inspirational, creative, and reflective. Personal insight will be gained through practical experience and shared activity, away from the demands of daily life.

We suggest that you keep a journal of your experience where you can record insights, drawings, photographs, recipes, tips and memories as a lasting record of all you have enjoyed, experienced and learned – and how you will build on that after the break is over.

The price includes all tuition, ingredients and materials (but we would like you to choose and bring your own journal, and to bring your own art materials if you wish to), an evening meal on Tuesday, lunch on Wednesday and Thursday and a banquet followed by live music on Wednesday evening. Please feel free to bring an instrument if you wish – or just enjoy!

There will be a maximum of 8 places on the course – so do register your interest so as not to be disappointed.
